Mumbai, Jan 18: It is duel celebrations time in Printania Printers, the famous printing house of the metro city. While ‘Printania Offset Pvt Ltd’ completes 25 years, its chairman and managing director Albert W D’Souza will celebrate his 50th birthday.
Albert D’Souza is a leading entrepreneur of the Mangalorean Catholic community.
For his remarkable contribution in spreading the "Word of God" , His Holiness Pope the late John Paul II had given him a special audience and lauded his services to the Church. Apart from this Albert has been honoured by many a Cardinals and Bishops for his achievements. On 30th November 2003 when the Apostolic Nuncio to India and Nepal Most Rev. Pedro Lopez Quintana visited Mangalore Albert was specially invited for his felicitation programme by the Diocese of Mangalore at the Rosario Cathedral Church and he was honoured by the Nuncio.
Presently, Albert is the chairman of Model Cooperative Bank, and has been instrumental in the success of the bank.
Hailing from Pangla near Shirva in Udupi district, Albert did his diploma in printing technology and is also a graduate in business management. He has been the major donor for his alma maters back in his native place and has been instrumental in establishing St Joseph’s Engineering College at Vamanjoor in Mangalore.
