Udupi, Jan 29: Kanjarakatte Udayashankara Kamath (45) hailing from near Padubidri, who was undertaking construction contracts, breathed his last in a city-based hospital on Wednesday January 28.
It is gathered that he had undergone cosmetic surgery for reduction of fat and weight in a hospital here on Monday. It is learnt that post operation, his health condition suddenly deteriorated. He is survived by wife and a son.
Kamath was well known for interest shown by him in social work in and around Kanjarakatte. He was a member of Muddanu Lord Mahalingeshwara Temple managing committee.
Former MLA, Gopal Bhandary, and several others have grieved his untimely death.
