Mumbai, Jan 28: With the arrival of Hrithik Roshan on the sets of the much talked about "Mohenjo Daro", its director Ashutosh Gowarikar can finally have the clapperboard clap the beginning of the shoot. Mohenjadaro is an epic love story mired in adventure and conceptualised in the historic Indus Valley civilisation.
The shooting is taking place in Bhuj, Rajasthan and the rest of the crew was already in place along with the director getting things ready. Hrithik Roshan previously worked with Ashutosh on the Moghul love story "Jodha-Akbar". The movie was an astounding success. Mohenjo Daro is similarly a period drama rife with plots and subplots.
Hrithik had been paired with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan for Jodha Akbar, but this time Ashutosh has chosen South Indian actress Pooja Hegde as his leading lady. Mohenjo Daro is scheduled for release, 8 years after Jodha Akbar, in 2016.
The shooting had been stalled for various reasons and its only now that everything finally seems to be falling into place.
