Mangaluru, Jan 10: Apoorva Mali and her sister, Anjana Mali from the city, who are better known with the name, 'Mali Magic Sisters', have created four world records for being the youngest magicians to achieve various feats.

Apoorva (8) and Anjana (6), both of whom are students of Canara Highschool (CBSE) here, learnt magic along with childhood plays, said their father Rajesh mali, addressing a press conference here on Friday January 9.

Rajesh said that London-based War of World Records Foundation had issued world record certificate and gold medals, considering that both these children have been skilled magicians since the age of 18 months. Apoorva Mali has bagged 'Youngest Sleight of Hand Magician', and 'Youngest Blindfolded Motor Bike Rider' record, while Anjana Mali has got 'Youngest Illusionist' award. Both of them also have been certified as the youngest sisters to have performed magic shows in the entire world, he said. In the past, they had earned the distinction of being the youngest magicians in India, he noted.

Mother of these two, Shobha Raj Mali, who is the director of Mangala Magic World, well-known magician, Kudroli Ganesh, and Canara Highschool principal, Joy J Rai, were present at the press conference.
