Difficult to discuss in English with anyone whose vocabulary is limited to one word ' 'protestor ' I don't think you know the meaning or the connection to the topic.
May Saint Joseph Vaz, the first saint from Mangalore, intercede for us and bless us all.

Fr. Joseph Vaz is now Saint Joseph Vaz. What a great pleasure. We had visited Mudipu as well as Paneer Church on two separate occasions thru the kind courtesy of Mr. Hari Kamath. What a great honor for us to feel that a Hindu friend should guide us to Mudipu and make us walk up the hill and pay our respects to the place where Fr. Joseph Vaz died. Now that Fr. Joseph Vaz has been elevated to Sainthood, it will be a joyful occasion to visit Paneer Church as well as Mudipi site and pray for all our new intentions.Thank you, Shriman Hari Kamath, for your kind gesture of giving us a free trip to Mudipu. On our next occasion, we would like take you and your wife to Mudipu and pay our respects to the newly canonized Saint Joseph Vaz. Perhaps the new Saint might bring you additional strength to walk towards the hilly place. Do not forget, we need to stop by at Thokkode and eat some fresh "Mysore Park" sweets for good-old time sake. Namaskhaar.
2nd commandment as in Bible : EXODUS 20:4-6 "You shall not make for yourself a carved image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me, but showing mercy to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments.EXODUS 20:4-6 "You shall not make for yourself a carved image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. What a revelation !The truth in the Bible is for every one to see -AshokCan any one dispute the Bible ?
saints are great souls who walked in path showed by Jesus Christ, we can make statues and take procession to honor them..but we must only pray to God almighty and not to saints..
FYI this particular commandment was/ is missing in Catholic Bible when I read this few years back instead the 10th commandment was split into two and was 9th and 10th Commandment in Catholic Bible which also contains 12 extra books instead of 66 of King James Version (KJV)
B POSITIVE ,Why be negative ?TO ACCOMODATE THE USER RATHER MISUSE OF STATUES , IDOL ETC.THE COMMANDMENT ITSELF IS MISSING.in regard to 66 books you have a lot of reading to do.The KJV WAS 1st published in 1611 and in contained all the books the catholic bible has 66.In the year 1885 these books were removed from the KJV . By whom ? Why ? You answer !The book of revelation forbids anything to be added or removed !
Correction The KJV WAS 1st published in 1611 and it contained all the books the catholic bible has 66. 12
