Mumbai, Dec 18: Juhu Andheri Versova –Vile Parle Association of Bunts (JAVAB) organized a diabetes check-up and educational programme at the Indian Medical Association auditorium at JVPD here.

JAVAB president N C Shetty welcomed the gathering at the short programme that was held on the occasion and explained the aims and objectives of JAVAB.

A few minutes of silence was observed for executive committee member and vice-president of Bombay Bunts Association Jayakar S Shetty who passed away recently.

Dr Sadanand V Shetty, Dr Prakash T Rai, Dr Ashutosh N Shetty, Sheryl Salis and other doctors conducted check-ups and offered consultation.

Many of the JAVAB office-bearers and members were present on the occasion. Vice-president Nagesh N Shetty, honorary chief secretary B Shivram Naik and treasurer Jayaprakash Shetty felicitated the doctors.

Joint treasurer Gunakar D Shetty introduced the doctors while joint secretary J V Shetty delivered the vote of thanks.
