Accra, Jan 7 (IANS): Ghana have called up a 16-man squad into their men's football Olympic team to prepare for a two-game international friendly against Egypt next week.
The Black Meteors will use the games to prepare for impending All Africa and Olympic Games qualifying campaigns this year, reports Xinhua.
Head coach Malik Jabir will gather his called-up players at the national camp at the Ghanaman Soccer Center of Excellence, Prampram, to begin training Wednesday.
The team, mainly drawn from the elite and lower division, will depart Accra Sunday and play their first game next Wednesday before rounding up the friendly series on Saturday.
