Mangaluru, Jan 04: Bengaluru will host the 'National level Ayush Expo' from January 21 to 25, 2015 in association with Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) at Ulsoor. This was revealed by U T Khader, minister for Health and Family Welfare at a press a meet held at circuit house on January 4 in the city.
Addressing the press meet here, Khadar said "Chief Minister Siddaramaiah will inaugurate the Ayush expo and union minister for Ayush ministry Shripad Nayak will be present at the inaugural function. The expo will have over 200 stalls with various state and national level Ayush Industries showcasing their products and services."
"There will also be various seminars conducted during the five days, mainly for ayush students and doctors and for Ayush Industries."Khadar added.
"People choose to go for Ayurveda at last, after loosing all the money in medication, without any satisfactory results. Our aim is to make the Ayurvedic medicine to the first destination for healthcare and not the last." he said.
Answering the question asked by a reporter, U T Khadar said that he had written to assembly speaker, Kagodu Thimmappa, clarifying that he had not provided wrong information to the state assembly relating to submission of proposals to finance ministry relating to remuneration payable to medical officers.
He also said that he talked to Kagodu Thimmappa over the phone clarifying the same and also he met the Chief Minister to clarify about the issue.
