Mumbai, Jan 3: Prestigious well known institute of fashion, International Institute Training Center (IITC) run by Tulu Kannadigas held 'IITC Glitz and Glamour- 2014' fashion show at Leela Kempinsky hotel's grand ballroom at Andheri east on Monday evening, December 22,2014.

In the national level fashion programme, the legend of fashion world,intellect of professional education, IITC founder executive president S K Urwal gave a speech with best wishes and set the programme in motion. Bollywood musician Sukhveer Singh was present as Chief guest. He said that fashion is hidden behind everybody's talent. So fashion comes out with skill. Talent is fashion, he said.















Special invitees, India's first Miss India winner Meher Castelino, Kingdom of Belgium's Consulate General's head Pinky Ashluvaliya, Bollywood designer Ashley Rebello, Kavitha Sharma, Rohith Varma and A V Billimoriya who had arrived, added attraction to the event. They praised the service of IITC in professional education and wished it well. They also encouraged the positive talents of IITC and congratulated them.

IITC established in 1966 is at the peak of professional courses. The IITC founded by Belthangadi origin Tulu Kannadiga S K Urwal has completed 48 years of fruitful service. It is an organization that conducts courses in Fashion, Travel, Hospitality and Management.
Fashion courses are their specialty and Fashion shows are held here every year as part of the curriculum. It is an opportunity for show of talent for children and enables them to obtain jobs, said Meher Castelino.

Students from Mumbai, suburbs and Ahmedabad branches numbering 125 had participated in the fashion show. Well known models in the country, Candice Pinto, Achal Kumar, Alicia Ravut, Shavar Ali, Umesh Ferwani, Rajneesh Duggal and several beautiful women walked on the ramps and displayed latest fashion.

The Fashion show started with Indian costumes and students of IITC wore clothes prepared by them and walked for nearly 13 rounds of slot and catwalk. They presented their own fashion by taking stylish steps in catwalk.

IITC institute director Vikranth Urwal, Director Reena V Urwal, Sandesh Urwal, Neha S Urwal, Sampath Kumar and others were present. Master Samrat S Urwal and K Janwi presented flower bouquet to the guests and honored them. Salma Khalwani described the advantages of learning Fashion designing and career opportunities in it.

Dr Suresh S Rao, Rony Olivera, Ravi Suvarna, S N Udupa and others had arrived as guests of honor. IITC group's Nikhil Sampath, Shanker Pande, Sridhar Rao, Sanjay Mistry and others were present. Earlier Leela Kempinsky group of company's head Padmabhooshan Captain C P Krishna Nayar, who passed away recently was offered homage by silent prayer. The programme had started by prayer to Lord Ganesh. Umesh Farwani welcomed, compered the programme and proposed vote of thanks.
