Mangaluru, Dec 25: 'Tuje Khatir', the debut Konkani album by Royston Pinto was released on Wednesday December 24 after Christmas Mass at St Joseph the Worker Church, Vamanjoor.
The album was released by Royston Pinto's grandmother Gracy Lewis. She was accompanied by parish priest Fr Cyprian Pinto and Fr Felix Lobo.
Royston's parents, brother Shan and sister-in-law Rini were also present for the event. The music arranger of the album, Patson Pereira, the youngest music arranger of Konkani music world, was also on the daid.
CDs will be available in all popular and leading Konkani utility shops on December 25. Several CDs have already been sold.
In recognition of his achievement, Royston Pinto was felicitated by parish preist, vice-president Roshan Kamath, and secretary Joachim D'souza.
Royston Pinto in collaboration with many noteworthy artistes has come out with 'Tuje Khatir'. He has worked on 11 songs in this album and has rendered each track as a testament to his love for music.
