Kundapur, Dec 18: A woman named Jahida from Byndoor has complained to Byndoor police about abduction of her husband, Khaleel Noor Mohammed. She said in her complaint dated December 12 that the first wife of Khaleel, who had been divorced long back, and her son had abducted Khaleel.
Khaleel, resident Yedthare village near Byndoor, had married a lady named Shahida Parveen from Bengaluru about 16 years back. She had given birth to a son. Khaleel reportedly divorced Shahida thereafter and married a lady named Jahida from Byndoor, through whom he has a five-year-old son.
Khaleel had visited his wife, Jahida, about a week back. On December 11, when he was waiting by the side of the road leading to HMMS School, his divorced wife and her son, who were seated with four other persons in a blue Maruti Swift car bearing registration No. KA 04 MP 2716 reportedly approached him and forcibly took him away in the car, duly claiming with him that he faces a case in Bangaluru, and that his presence was required there, Jahida said.
She further added that she had since contacted K G Halli police station in Bengaluru, and was informed that no policemen had been sent to bring her husband. Khaleel's relatives in Bengaluru also told her that he had not visited them. Based on this information, Jahida, who came to the conclusion that her husband had been abducted, has asked the policemen to register the complaint, find out the whereabouts of her husband, and punish the abductors.
