Mangaluru, Dec 15: Guardian Angels parish, Angelore organised 'Gammath 2014' a fancy fete and food fest in aid of its on going development projects at the church.

The two-day marathon fun, games and food fiesta was inaugurated by the parish priest Fr Mathew Vas on December 13 evening.

The response from parishioners and the public was overwhelming. Although there was a fear of rain, there was no rain at all during the entire two-day event.

The fancy fete included stage programmes, games, fun and Mangalorean food.

Gammath 2014 was sponsored by many generous people to support the projects of Angelore church. The main sponsor of the programme Sunil Pais, the proprietor of Nityadar Travels (a group of Canara Pinto, Sagar and Maharaja Travels in Mumbai and Mangalore) and other major sponsors were felicitated on stage by the parish priest Fr Mathew Vas during the Sunday programme.

Fr Mathew Vas thanked all sponsors who supported the cause by monetary and other types of supports. He also thanked all those parishioners who tirelessly worked for many days to accomplish the task in hand.

Everyone who visited the fair enjoyed the fancy fete. The food items were in high demand.
