London, Dec 16 (IANS): Singers Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran and Sam Smith are confirmed to perform the first three acts at the 2015 Brit Awards.
The superstar trio are all likely to be in the running for the big prizes and they have all performed at Britain's biggest music awards in the past too.
Swift last performed at the 2013 event and sang her hit “I knew you were trouble". Her album “1989” has been a huge success in Britain.
Brit Awards regular Sheeran is likely to be in the prizes for his sophomore album “X”. He has had a spectacular 2014 and was also the most streamed artist on the commercial music streaming service Spotify in the Britain.
Likewise, Smith had a stellar year, performing at the American Music Awards and picking up six Grammy nominations.
The Brit Awards will take place Feb 25 2015, and will be broadcast live from London's O2 Arena.
