Mangaluru: Jagannath Bala elected president of DK journalists' union

Mangaluru, Nov 22: Jagannath Shetty Bala has been unanimously elected the new president of Dakshina Kannada Working Journalists' Union (DKWJU). Srinivas Nayak has been elected the chief secretary.


The following have been elected unopposed in the elections held for new committee:

President - Jagannath Shetty Bala
Vice-presidents - Sukesh Kumar, Sudhakar Yermal, K Wilfred D'Souza
Chief secretary - Srinivas Nayak
Secretary - Venkatesh Bantwal
Treasurer - Ibrahim Adkastala
