Abu Dhabi, Nov 21 (IANS/CMC): Formula 1 driver Lewis Hamilton insists that he is under no pressure ahead of the title-deciding Abu Dhabi Grand Prix this weekend at the Yas Marina Circuit here.
Hamilton leads Mercedes teammate Nico Rosberg by 17 points and needs to finish second if Rosberg wins to secure the title, reports CMC.
"I come into the weekend trying to win the race, like always. So nothing changes there. In terms of pressure, I don't really feel anything. I have been racing for 20 years to prepare for it," said Hamilton.
While Hamilton needs to finish ahead of Rosberg in the points to become champion, the controversial award of double points for this one race makes it harder for him to clinch the championship than it would otherwise have been.
In previous years a sixth place would have been enough if Rosberg won. But title honours for Hamilton also ride on a range of other race outcomes.
