Daijiworld Media Network – Mysuru (SP)

Mysuru, Nov 7: In an incident which occurred at Hudco Colony here on Thursday November 6, locals who caught hold of two boys who allegedly raped a girl, bound them and hit them with cudgels, before policemen came on the scene and took them away.

A nine-year-old girl, who happens to be a third standard student of the government Urdu lower primary school, became the victim of the sexual advances made by these two boys. Two boys aged 17 and 14, both sons of a friend of the girl's foster father, have been accused of raping the girl.

After the girl complained of acute abdominal pain, her foster father took her to a private clinic on Thursday. The doctor, who examined the girl, confirmed that she had been raped. Thereafter, the girl revealed the names of the offenders.

The neigbours then joined together and tethered both the aggressors to an electric pole. The accused were stripped semi-nude and hit indiscriminately with sticks by the crowd. The policemen of Narasimharaja station then visited the spot and handed over to the care of Balamandira.

The girl in question is under the care of a person who runs a small tea stall. The father-daughter duo lives in a thatched hut in the colony. The foster father of the girl, before going to Bangalore on urgent work on Monday, had entrusted his daughter to the care of a friend. 'When I stayed in that house, the boys flashed knife to threaten me, raped me, and posed life threat against revealing information about what had happened,' the girl told her foster father, who in turn complained to the police.

The accused, who were confronted by the neighbours, confessed to their crime. One of them works as a labourer, while the other is a eighth standard student. Both were injured because of the thrashing they received.

Deputy commissioner of police, A N Rajanna, who confirmed that the girl is being ooked after by a tea stall vendor, added that police will soon find out the girl's natural parents.

The main reason for increase of rapes, is the internet available in the smart phone, computers, browsing centers, CDs. etc. without any restriction and also publicity given to sex enhancement drugs. It is high time that the government should take serious look in these areas, rather than taking political advantage of the incident.

what a sad event! DONT LET the juvenile law come in between in saving them... treat these on par with rest of the rapists and keep them locked for life! ... this would be Siddaramayyas acid test..

Mob justice may be the right punishment to these types of monsters. They may not fear the law but hopefully, the fear of social justice should deter other monsters "in waiting".

I am always against manhandling the human beeing for any crimes. But yesterday I saw this live in TV news and so happy about public outrage. The accused were beaten continueously with stick on their back by the mob and it was oozing with blood.I wished somebody apply desha namak on their wound so these creatures never do the crime again in their life.
Our laws are weak to give justice to the rape victim aand this is the best method to deliver justice.
