Kundapur, Nov 6: Kundapur DySP C B Patil laid foundation stone for new police quarters on Wednesday, November 5.
Speaking on the occasion, DySP Patil said, “Two police quarters are being built by Police Housing Corporation at a cost of Rs 11.5 crores. There are six blocks in the building that is being constructed. There are 12 houses in each block. The total numbers of houses are 76”.
“The upcoming quarters for sub inspectors have six houses. The buildings will be ready within a year which will solve the problem of police housing”, he said.
Police housing corporation assistant commissioner Santhosh Kumar Ullal, said that grants were approved for Hudco police quarters project. The construction has been taken up by Manjushree constructions who will maintain quality.
Kundapur circle inspector P M Diwaker, Byndoor circle inspector Sudarshan, Manjushree construction manager H Dayananda Shetty, partners Sudheer Kumar Shetty Markodu, sub-inspectors Nasir Hussain and Imran among other staff were present.
