Bangalore: Abdul Azeem joins BJP, says he was inspired by Modi

Daijiworld Media Network – Bangalore (SP)

Bangalore, Nov 6: Retired IPS officer and JD(S) leader, Abdul Azeem, officially joined BJP on Wednesday November 5 along with about 20 of his supporters from Muslim community. He was given a warm welcome by national BJP vice president, B S Yeddyurappa, state BJP president, Prahlad Joshi, former chief minister, Jagadish Shettar, MP, Shobha Karandlaje, and other leaders at the BJP office on Wednesday evening.

Prahlad Joshi, speaking on the occasion, said that Azeem had joined the party without any preconditions. 'The party will consider giving him suitable positions in due course. We are happy that a retired IPS officer and a number of Muslim leaders have shown inclination to join BJP. This we feel, will give a clear signal to those who unjustifiably cast unfounded allegations on BJP,' he said.

Joshi said that another former MLA and JD(S) leader, Sunil Hegde, will be joining BJP within a week.

Azeem said he was inspired by the development-oriented approach of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi. 'I decided to join BJP, as Modi's concern for the country appealed to me,' he clarified.

Azeem said that Congress leaders have been projecting Modi as an anti-Muslim leader, to reap political benefits. 'We should understand that Modi has never been a Muslim hater as being made out to be. He treats every countryman equally. Congress leaders have been using Muslims only for appeasement and political gains. Congress has done nothing for the progress of Muslim community. Muslim leaders have to understand this,' he said.

Azeem added that the Indian Constitution does not have a separate provisions for communals and secularists. 'BJP was never communal, and Congress leaders have been branding this party as communal for their own ends,' he felt.

He is impressed with Modi!! Good!!! He is an IPS officer and knowledgeable person!! Good for every one him and the state!! According to my opinion him joining Modi in the presence of B S Yeddyurappa, state BJP president, Prahlad Joshi, former chief minister, Jagadish Shettar, MP, Shobha Karandlaje: defeats the whole purpose!! I pity the personalities welcoming a retired IPS with the intension of serving for prosperity of mankind!!!!! Some of them are not being spotted by their voters for almost a year!!! Modi wave is good if it can help India!! If these idiots taking refuge under the wave...it is a national nightmare!! Prove me wrong!!!

Maduve manège Yeddina karibedi, maranadha manège DVS nnu Karibedi. Which means do not invite Yeddi to any marriage function with his sulken face which is for ever since they he lost his chair, at the same time do not invite DV Sadananda gowda to any funeral as he will me smiling there also.

Mr.Abdul Azeem was one of the dare devils of Karnataka Police Dept..He was polite, stright, hard and dedicated police officer..When all police officers failed to catch rowdy (notorious) Tanveer, Mr.Azeem was handed over the responsibility to catch..To everyoones surprise he arrested Tanveer in Bombay(Mumbai) and not in Bangalore..Police Commissioner Mr.Revana Siddaiah congratulated him and gifted him "Silver Laathi" ! Mr.Azeem controlled rowdies very well in Bangalore..He was not invloved in any type of bribe (to the best of my knowledge). But I was surprised when he joined corrupt party JDS ! anyway, his decision to join BJP is wonderful..Mr.Modi wants people like Mr.Azeem in his party..I am sure one day,he will become Union Minister..it takes time..but he will..But I want him to be Home Minister of Karnataka after Siddu Govt's fall from power !

he is an IPS, educated and has been in police force! so he knows, riots and rest of the cases, well! emotional rants, rhetorics wont take us any further! "be in the system and oppose it from there, if you dont like it"! baahar rehke "politics of untouchability, and waiting for others invite to be a part of bigger things" will not help! its a democracy.. everyone is equal share holder..

Again, I am not saying as a MODI fan! his politics is of a different level altogether.. he is OK, even if you vote him or dont vote him.. he has clear focus on many things..! I just tell that cos, learn the tricks of electoral politics! AAP says so much about muslims, but hardly has one muslim MLA or Minister! Congress says so many things, it has hardly made one Muslim or Dalit as CM of a progressive state! dont be mere pawns in their hand.. rest is upto you.. you continue to hate Modi and his politics, you are free in democratic world.. :)

PS: Azeez will not stay here for long too.. -) Shankar Bidari an IPS is there already...! normal department rivarly, peer pressure etc.. vhe vhe vhe
