Bengaluru: Now, attempt to sexually assault 2-year-old girl

Bengaluru, Nov 3 (PTI): A 29-year-old man tried to sexually assault a two-year-old girl here, police said.

The incident took place yesterday when the girl was playing in front of her house. The accused, neighbour of the girl, approached her, took her to a hiding place nearby and tried to sexually assault her, Rohini Katoch Sepat, DCP, South-East Bengaluru, said.

The accused ran away as the girl's mother came out on hearing her daughter's screams, she said.

The parents have filed a complaint, acting on which the accused had been arrested under Section 376 IPC (rape) and various sections of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act 2012, she said.

Four sexual assault cases on minor girls in schools have taken place in as many months in Bengaluru.

In the recent incident, a six-year-old girl student was allegedly sexually assaulted twice in the school premises on October 28 and 29 in Bengaluru, following which the Hindi teacher was arrested, as also the Principal and Director of the institution, the latter two being let out on bail.

Our lovely public India is a titanic Country and there are so many towns and cities which are motionless embryonic for sure. Illiteracy, dearth, joblessness and erstwhile abuse of power and status for apprehending minor blameless poor girls...and finally what they do is undeniably with erotic frustration for imaginable desire and corporal consummation. They rape and onwards with anxiety kill the indicted girl.

For me I think schooling is far more important. India has literacy rate of 75%. If people are educated then it will certainly coach veneration and good thoughts. In this way, this kind of vicious rape cases will be much more condensed.
We need strict law say, any rapist of any age should be visibly uted in our Country. Then it will build up the fear against rapes. And also it's better for any age of girls if they can dodge going and working late at nights because many bad blokes are always eyeing for such girls. Parents should take care of their minor children and young adulthood and safeguard them throughout their minor innocent caring living age border.
May God bless our beloved Country. Jai Hind !!

Makes us wonder what's wrong with people. Media and increased awareness are exposing these criminals. Govt. needs to think about what is the root cause of these problems. Solution needs to be education, awareness, punishment. Setting up Helplines would definitely help.
