Udupi: Jewellery worth Rs 5 lacs looted from a house

Udupi, Oct 28: The thieves have broken into a house and walked away with jewellery worth Rs 5 lacs and Rs 30,000 cash.

The house at Badagabettu near Bailur School belongs to Jacintha Martis. Jacintha Martis with her family had gone to Shankarpur on the morning of October 26.

While they returned home on October 27, they discovered that front door was broken. The thieves had stolen the jewellery consisting pendant with cross, chains, four bangles and a necklace. They also took cash.

Udupi police town have registered the case.

    I think in future,we have to hold a Leopard as our pet at home.It will guard home and our wealth.Someone is there to give News who wnd when are not at home.Next time some one must try to spread the News of going out of house for days and Keep a Close watch what happens and may findout culprits home warmup.or calmdown.

    Police registered the case, looters already reached their native place and coming back within a week to loot another house.
