Mangalore, Oct 16: the Suvarna Karnataka Samskruti Dibbana visited Mangalore on Sunday. The procession painted the city red.
Depicting the rich heritage of the state, the Dibbana was accompanied by senior litterateurs and freedom fighters of the region. Pundalik Karkera, Kayyara Kinhanna Rai, Venkat Raju and Amruth Someshwar who were present were felicitated on the occasion.
B M Idinabba, former chairman, Kannada Development Authority and Kayyara Kinhanha Rai, DK SP B Dayananda, ZP president Mamata Gatti, Mangalore MLA N Yogish Bhat and several others were present on the occasion.
The Suvarna Ratha will leave to Bantwal on Oct 17.
