Udupi: Aksharabhyasam held to mark Vijayadasami celebration

Udupi, Oct 5: Aksharabhyasam was performed to mark Vijayadasami as part of Navratri celebration at Sri Lakshmivenkatesh Temple, here on Saturday October 4.

Krishnanada Bhat performed religious rituals on the occasion.

Folk dance and other cultural programmes were conducted to celebrate the occasion.

A procession will be held on Sunday October 8 at 5 pm throughout the prominent streets of Udupi along with various tableaus, Nasik band, tiger-dance and Chende beats.
