Moodbidri, Oct 1: Burglars, who entered a house in Karinja village made an easy escape with cash and jewelry worth Rs 64,000.
The incident was reported on Wednesday in the house of Anantapadmanabha. The thieves broke into the house through the main door at a time when there was no one in the house.
Rs 24,000 cash and ornaments worth Rs 40,000 have been reported stolen. According to police source the thief is suspected to be the handiwork of a localite.
