Kundapur, Sep 30: The forest department staff have seized two country-made guns from a house at Jadkal near Kollur here on Friday September 29 morning.
The weapons were seized from on Saba's house at Jadkal. The raid was carried out after the forest department received a sure clue from their intelligence. Though police seized the arms, the accused Matu and Saba managed to escape during the raid.
The reports also said that the forest department had raided the house after receiving the news that the accused had stored meat of the wild animals. But during the search they came across the country-made guns which the accused possessed without license.
Kollur police have registered a case in this regard.
