Mangalore: Lorry -car collision leaves car driver injured

Mangalore, Sep 18: A tempo lorry and an alto car collided, leaving the car driver injured, near Kallapu here on Thursday, September 18.

Engineer Anis who was driving the car is admitted in the hospital. The car was plying from Thokottu to Mangalore. The tempo was coming out from the factory to the national highway. The car hit the lorry.

The tempo driver who was trying to flee after the accident was held by the locals. The accident resulted in traffic jam on the national highway for sometimes.

Ullal station police arrived on the spot and regulated the traffic.
