Panaji, Sep 16 (IANS): Brazilian legend Zico will meet Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar later this week to discuss the possibility of his involvement in the 'Beautiful Game' in Goa and India, promoter of Indian Super League (ISL) franchise FC Goa Shrinivas Dempo said Tuesday.
Dempo was speaking during an interaction with the media Tuesday, the first after the team's signing up of Brazilian legend Zico, as its marquee coach.
"The whole reason he is meeting the chief minister is how much can he contribute to Indian football and Goan football," Dempo told the media conference.
"My wish-list would be to have him permanently in Goa, but he is so well known and so much in demand he probably has commitments back in Brazil," the club co-owner also said.
When media asked if whether Zico's tryst with Indian football would continue, Dempo said: "It's too early days to say... We need to look at what commitments he has back home."
