Bangalore,Aug 30: Popular Sandalwood director Om Prakash Rao, who is currently caught in a rather messy controversy apologised to the people of Karnataka.

The filmmaker, who was exposed by a tv channel for making sexual advances towards an aspiring actress, seems to have learnt his lesson after being beaten up by people in Srirangapattina recently.

Om Prakash, without any hesitation, came forward and accepted his mistake on television. He went on to apologize and ask people for mercy for his wrong doings.

In a recent sting operation conducted by a leading news channel, he claimed that he had slep with top actress of Sandalwood.This led to a huge uprorar in the industry.
