Once again a great event in the life and history of St. John's Medical College and hospital. The best gift one can another is THE GIFT OF EDUCATION. I have no hesitation in saying that over the past five decades St. John's have provided the best services a medical college or a hospital can think of. The young boys and girls who have qualified from this mighty College sing the glory of their Alma Mater. I have had the pleasure of knowing the prime personalities of St. John's and they have been greatly responsible for the name and good will of this mighty Institution.

Rev. Dr. Percy Fernandes (now Bishop Percy) made a start and we have here Ref. Dr. Lawrence D'Souza presently working as director getting ready to lay down his office after a fruitful, meritorious and excellent service of six yeas. Hope the successors will keep up the name and traditions built over the years.
