Moodbidri, Sep 8: The 152nd birthday of social reformer and great thinker Shri Narayana Guru's 152nd birthday was observed in the Moodbidri Billava Bhavan.

Shri Narayana Guru had staunchly advocated peace and harmony in the society, one-God-for-all belief and had fought against social evils and wrong beliefs. His followers are in large numbers in coastal Keral and Karnataka.

Adve Ravindra Poojary, noted teacher, said that all should follow Shri Narayana Guru's preaching of simple living, simple marriages and other values.

Billava leaders, MLA Abhayachandra Jain and others were present on the occasion.
