Drinking through out the day and walking at night on the roads has become the Culture of the Tribes in Coorg which all people have seen . It is a good move by the Authority, only by having a Tiger reserve our Forest will be protected or else the entire forest resources will be destroyed by the Human Tigers . We should bring out the 2 legged Tigers out of the forest and send back the 4 legged tigers back into the forest. BJP Reddy Brothers in Bellary have already showed their true colours by looting the forest land and now some goons want to do the same here .

If by chance BJP comes to power in the next election, BJP will implement this project and will show to the world how good they are...take eg: of aadhar, Nuclear deal, Pakistan cease fire violations, Fuel hike policies etc etc...

Why is he opposing ? This land belonged to the tigers and animals before, we drove them out. Its theirs rightfully. Tigers are endangered and not people. We need to give them their space. People need to stop encroaching their land.

Modi’s gift for voting him..feku sir, by 2017 you won’t see people in Karkala only tigers. Big question is can country like India really afford these kind of eco-friendly projects when millions struggling to get piece of land in their name. No wonder Indians are forced to reelect corrupt congress again and again as BJP always seen as pro-businessmen party.

Yes People need place...but does not mean you destroy forest and water sources. Poverty must not be the reason for self destruction.

For the country - do we need a tiger reserve? do we need a power plant? do we need industrial layout?

If the answer is yes - why not in our region, why every other region should not protest like us?
If the answer is no - then let us press on the government saying we don't need these things, in our land as well as in our neighbour land.

We can't say our lives will be harmed and somewhere else, they will not be harmed, how do we know that any other location people don't have objection? Just as we hold our environment/neighborhood as valued, every other region holds it too, so government is stuck at implementing projects.

I have personally faced this contradiction while protesting to power plant in Udupi/Mangalore. I do not know who is right, so have planned to abstain :)

With leopards leaping forth to the courtyard, I do not want a tiger reserve anywhere.
