Los Angeles, Aug 14 (IANS): Iconic actress Audrey Hepburn's granddaughter Emma Ferrer has stepped into the world of modelling.
Ferrer, 20, has posed for the cover of the September issue of US Harper's Bazaar magazine, reports contactmusic.com.
Her photograph is shot by Micheal Avedon, the grandson of famed phtographer Richard Avedon, who coincidentally labelled Hepburn his muse in 1950s.
The campaign features the brunette beauty channelling Old Hollywood glamour in a silver Lanvin feathered gown - a style made timeless by her legendary grandmother.
Ferrer didn't ever get to meet her grandmother, who passed away from cancer a year before she was born in 1993. However, the young model has come to know a lot about the famous actress via her father Sean Hepburn Ferrer, Audrey's first son with Mel Ferrer.
"As a child I couldn't really relate to Audrey Hepburn, the actress. To me, she was family. I can live with her through my father. His stories are all about his growing up.
"I remember seeing a photo of her jumping on a trampoline - I believe this was before I understood that she was famous. But I remember thinking that she looked like a friend I wish I could have had," Ferrer told the magazine.
Ferrer is also coming to terms with being related to Audrey, but said: "I've been questioning a lot lately what she means to me. Sometimes when I was younger, I felt confused toward what having a grandmother like her could mean in my life. But I am now understanding."
