Bangalore, Aug 6 (DHNS) : Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee president G Parameshwara on Tuesday described Union Railway Minister D V Sadananda Gowda “as a man without culture.”
Both the leaders reacted sharply to the comments of Sadananda Gowda who said: “The birthday of Parameshwara will become the death day of the Congress.”
On Tuesday, Siddaramaiah at his home office Krishna, questioned: “Do cultured people speak in such language? Do people compare a birthday to a death anniversary?”
Meanwhile, Parameshwara, speaking at a function in Bangalore on Tuesday, attacked Sadananda Gowda and said, “I thought the Railway Minister is a cultured person. But now I realise I am wrong. People in responsible positions should not pass such remarks carelessly.”
Campaigning from Aug 10
Meanwhile, both Siddaramaiah and Parameshwara, said that they will start campaigning from August 10 for the three Assembly constituencies which go to polls later this month.
