Mangalore: Man from Sirsi suffers fatal fall from city bus

Mangalore, Aug 5: A person named Udayakumar Shetty (51) died after falling down from a private city bus plying in the city on the night of Sunday August 3.

The accident occurred near Unity Hospital at Falnir here in the city. Shetty, who had settled down in Sirsi, reportedly visited the city to meet a relative. He travelled by a city bus moving from State Bank through Falnir. But when he was alighting from the bus, he fell and injured himself.

He was admitted to a private hospital in the city, but breathed his last on Monday without positively responding to treatments provided.
