Mangalore, Jul 15: A man pelted stones at the MCC inspector's sub office near service bus stand, damaging all the window pains, and physically assaulted MCC labourer Raju, in the wee hours on Monday night, July 14.

The accused has been identified as Dinesh alias Pabba, a resident of Monkeystand. He allegedly carried out the attack on his wife's office due to a family issue.

It is learnt that Dinesh’s wife Shashi works as a supervisor under the contract division in the MCC inspector's office under the health department.

Sources said that Dinesh, angered over certain family disputes and issues, pelted stones on all the windows of the office and damaged them.

When Raju, a contract labourer who stays in the office at night, tried to stop Dinesh and demanded an explanation for his act, he was assaulted by the accused, it is learnt.

The contractor who came to duty on Tuesday morning came to know about the attack from Raju, and brought it to the notice of higher officers.

A case has been registered against the accused in the Pandeshwar police station, based on a complaint by Bharath, the duty incharge inspector at the office.

Looks like a reasonably angry man. He used his anger very tactfully and spared his wife.

It's easy to make fun Of Pabba ..o.k.
    But tell me...
What can you do when you can't take it out on your wife?
There has to be a channel right? And the energy has to be channelized carefully through it- Right? See how carefully he has pelted the stones and made a design on the windows? 'tactful release' it is called in Criminology...I think.
You expect me to be expert in everything aa?Haven't I explained the 'art of pelting stones when in distress' to you? Has anybody done it before? Isn't it all free aa?

I don't agree that it's because of hangover as miserable feeling and lack of energy during hangover does not inspire to to do such crazy things.

In conclusion 2 or 3 points.
    1. Only a resident of Monkey Stand could do this.
    2. His wife obviously has the 'upper hand' in the house.
    3. Feel for 'Raju' who bore the brunt. Think Pabba saw his 'Pabbi' in him. It happens in the wee hours sometimes when you are in distress.
