Goa: Neighbours abuse, strip woman

Panaji, July 3 (IBN): In shocking news from Goa, a 33-year-old woman was allegedly abused, stripped and stuffed with chilly powder in her private parts by her neighbours. The incident allegedly took place on June 22 and 26.

The woman claims that on the first day she had registered a complaint with the Mapusa police station, but the police had registered it only as a non-cognizable offence. An FIR was finally registered on June 27.

An assistant sub-inspector has now been suspended for delay in filing the FIR and an inquiry has been ordered. Medical reports state that the woman has bruise marks on her private parts.
