Udupi: Dr Annapurna to present research essay at International Medical Conference

Manipal, June 21: Dr Annapurna Acharya, doctor, Department of Yoga, KMC Manipal University has been invited to present her research essay titled 'The Effects of Yoga in the Prevention of Diabetes' during the International Medical Conference that will be held in
Singapore from June 22 to 24.

She will explain the favourable physical and psychological effects of regular practice of surya namaskara, asana, pranayama and meditation by demonstration.


Dr Acharya has prepared her essay under the guidance of Dr A V Baliga, professor at KMC hospital, Dr Latha K S and Dr Ganapathi Joisa,
head of the department of Yoga at KMC.
