Bangalore, Jul 21: Karnataka governor T N Chaturvedi has sent to chief minister H D Kumaraswamy a copy of the Congress memorandum on bribery charges against him for a "factual report and his comments on the matter", a Raj Bhavan communique said on Thursday night.
The Governor had received a delegation of Congress who had informed him about the allegation levelled by suspended BJP member Janardhan Reddy in the Legislative Council against the Chief Minister, his family members, the Home Minister and the Forest minister, the communique said.
The delegation led by N Dharam Singh had asked the Governor to look into the charges of corruption by handing over the investigation to the CBI for inquiry, it said.
"A copy of the memorandum has been sent to the chief minister for a factual report and his comments on the matter," it said.
