Karkala : Man trying for religious conversion of girl arrested

Daijiworld Media Network - Karkala (SP)

Karkal, Jun 15: Policemen attached to Ajekar station in Karkala taluk succeeded in arresting Hasainar alias Rafique from Keyyur Janata Colony in Puttur taluk. Rafique had fled after seeing the railway police at Kasargod, when taking a girl from Ajekar to  Ponnani allegedly for converting her to Islam. The arrest  was made on Friday June 13.

The railway police, who had grown suspicious at the movement of a girl who was all alone at night at Kasargod, were told by  the girl that three youth standing separately a little distance away had escorted her there. After seeing that the  policemen were approaching them, Hasainar and his friends had fled from there. On further enquiry, the girl told the railway police that Hasainar, with whom the girl was in love, had taken away her ornaments and clothes.

It is learnt that the girl, working in a cashew factory in Muniyal near Karkala, had fallen in love with Hasainar, who used to  visit this factory often. Hasinar, it is gathered, pestered the girl to marry him and wanted  her  to get converted to his religion. On June 12, he had taken the girl in a car to Kasargod with the help of three of his friends. From  Kasargod, they were waiting to leave to Ponnani by train, when the girl was sighted by the railway police.

After the railway police contacted Ajekar police station, the policemen from there arrived in Kasargod along with the parents of the girl, and took her home. A case was filed in Ajekar  against Hasainar for taking away ornaments belonging to the girl. The policemen found out Hasinar's location  during the investigation, based on the location of his cell phone. With help from the policemen of  Puttur rural station,  they raided the house of the accused on Friday, and  arrested Hasainar alias Rafique. Gold ornaments belonging to the girl were also recovered. Two others, who are absconding, are  said to be from Uppinangady. The  policemen are  now making efforts to nab them.

I somehow feel that all commentators here have passed a 'certain age' and are somewhat mature.
In life many a times before you attain a 'certain age' and be mature there comes a time when you 'fall in love'. Or so you think ! This is a critical period!Critical because you are ready to do 'anything'. Jump of a cliff, Drown in the sea, Elope after robbing from you own house, sing in the middle of the night and all that.
What big-this 'conversion' thing then? Got the gist? Everybody is 'blind' during this phase and they
    blame it on 'love'.
Slowly when 'even this passes'('Bhoota Budnaaga'-they say
in 'Tulu') sanity returns and then you laugh at yourself! (A man or woman for that matter is 'sane' only when he laughs at himself/ herself-Mind it-O.K.?)
So this article and everything in it is time pass for the players and so it should be for the readers.Don't read too much into this. Think of your immature times ...O.K.? Were you all also 'pure saints'then?

Registering marriage within muslim marriage act and going for NIKAH NAMA , has so many advantages as far as men rights concerned. Men vl have prevelege of having multiple legal wifes . Morever even if the girl is minor and well above puberty , marriage is valid. Even if PCMA is invoked , it can be challenged and nullified using muslim sharia act. Even supreme court issued curricular stating uniform marriage age cannot be applicable in india.

Better Govt pass sharia rule for both Love as well as rape case. Let him follow the religion first rather than bringing someone in to the Islam. Idiot girl Even she is responsible for this incident. As per Islam before marriage love affair is Haram. no one will support him, in this case Hasinar & the girl both also equal responsible for the incident. she like him that's what she go with him Islam is not allowed to forcible conversion (Jihad Arabic word means sacrifice)the one who himself sacrificing his own willing (desires) for the sake of Allah is calling as jihad. Here is happening opposite of that. love jihad title given by the some enemy of islam in Kerala for the intension of defaming Islam.

Converting just for the sake of love won't take you nowhere. and yes as Mr. Ismail said, there are thousands of muslim girls who are not getting married because of many social evils prevailed in our community. So its better to think about women within the community first than converting women from other community and helping some cheap organizations to create communal violence!

Every adult has right to choose the religion they wish this is constitutional right and also to marry the person they wish...In this case girl is adult she has admitted that it was her personal choice...So no law can prevent her to choose her path...The point arises only when force is involved or girl is minor but in this incident it is not the case...
Leave her alone it is her decision she has admitted no force was involved..

As far as I know, a Muslim girl cannot marry a non Muslim. But, a Muslim boy can marry a Christian or Jew, but not Hindu. I do not know complete conditions of Christians, but Roman Catholics now can marry a person of any religion, provided other party gives in writing that the children would be brought up as RC.

This is the right time to all Hindu stands together to protect our religion as well as our culture. Just few days back one such Hindu boy trashed like animal just because he was in friendship with other religions girl. In fact in our region we have only few counted problems created by these goons and conversion is one of such issues. Every time we raise our voice, so called intellectual people talk about freedom of religion. What is their intention? To maintain the percentage of their population? To disturb the peace and harmony by declaring religious war?

Forced religious conversion can't be approved neither by the community nor the creator whereas willful conversion can't be avoidable.

Conversion in the name of love or any other reasons rather than FAITH never be allowed or supported.

So take strict action against this CONVERTER for doing such immoral activity so that others may learn a lesson. If he is not culprit why he escaped when police approached her???

These are burden to the community as well as the society.

Todays SUDDIMAHITHI reports that the girl refused to file any case against the culprit and she says no one forced her for conversion but it was her own decision,so police couldn't register any case against him n they made them handover BOND after calling his parents to the police station.

Still I smell some foul play in this whole episode. If she willfully decided to convert she should have take her parents in confidence first or with legal support.

Proper investigation must be done to reveal the truth to the public or else our EESHU will come out with his big mouth saying ......
