Stage set for 6th Lancy Nite in Dubai

Dubai, Apr 22: Young and charming singer-composer Lancy Noronha Bellore with the support of entrepreneur and singer Joseph Mathias is all set to present the 6th Lancy Nite in Dubai, along with new and well-known talents from around the UAE.

The event will be hosted at Emirates English Speaking School, near Safa Park on Friday May 9 from 6.30 pm.

The specialty of the show will be performance by well-known Mumbai-based singer Kenny who will enthral his fans with his usual stylish songs and dance in female role.

Speaking to daijiworld, Lancy said, "We need to promote new talents in UAE as many young singers are looking for opportunities to present thier skills. Like in the past 5 musical nites, this time too we will provide a platform for such artistes to perform."

Lancy and Joseph will be supported by Shyna and Lanita Noronha. Dony Correa, Mario Rego, Preema Dsouza, Monica Valder, Vinod and Vincent too will render their melodious voices. Magician Antony will spellbind the audience with magic tricks.

Dubai's well-known compere Roshan D'Silva will take charge of the show with his compering skills, like in the previous shows.

Ramiro Mascarenhas and team, one of the topmost music providers for Konkani shows will once again charm the audience with their unique music direction.

Apart from singing, dance and comedy will also keep the audience on their toes.

Actor-director Pradeep Barboza, supported by movie actor Deepak Paladka and Ashunta will entertain the audience with comedy.

Ocean Kids group will add more charm to the event with scintillating dances.

Joseph Mathias of Merit Freight, who not only supports all Konkani activities in the UAE but also takes active part in singing and encourages others, will render some of Lancy's hit songs during the show. "Konkani loving people in Dubai are very encouraging and supportive, we feel proud to organise such shows; it is audience support that keeps us going," he said, acknowledging the support from Konkani music lovers in Dubai.
