Mangalore, Jun 19: "No one need to fear about survival of the present state government as long as Deve Gowda is around," mocked former president of KCCI B Janardhan Poojary.
He was speaking to the reporters during his personal visit to Shri Gokarnatheshwar Temple at Kudroli near here on Monday June 19 morning.
"Everyone is speaking about the fall of the government. Some are even of the opinion that the government may not last even for few more days. However, in my opinion, till Deve Gowda is alive, the present government will not face any trouble with regard to survival. He would not want his son to step down from chief minister's post. After it was his life long desire to see his son ruling the son. Would such man allow the downfall of the government?" questioned Poojary.
He further criticized Gowda fir adopting double standards with regards to the developmental works in the state and various other issues.
