Cyrus remains hospitalised, cancels another show

Los Angeles, April 17 (IANS): Singer Miley Cyrus's Bangerz tour at St.Louis' Scottrade Center in Missouri got cancelled because the pop star continues to be hospitalised due to a severe allergic reaction to antibiotics.

The 21-year-old was hospitalised April 15 and is still receiving treatment for the allergic reaction, reports contactmusic.com.

The cancellation of the singer’s concert was confirmed by St. Louis' Scottrade Center with a statement posted on their website on April 16. The arena is now offering the concert-goers a full refund.

Cyrus took to Twitter to apologise to her disappointed fans writing: “I can't get a hold of my team because it is so early so I want to be the one to tell my fans especially the ones trekking to get there."

She continued: “The hospital is sayin I won’t b (be) released today. Therefore I’m not going 2 make it to St Louis. I’m so sorry but something’s are outta (out of) my control.”

This is the third time in a month that Cyrus has cancelled her Bangerz concert.

She scrapped Tuesday’s show at the Kansas City Sprint Center and earlier she had cancelled a gig in Charlotte, N.C.

Live Nation, live-events company, said in a press release: "Cyrus has been diagnosed with the flu and doctors have ordered her to rest."
