Cyrus pays tribute to her dog during concert

Los Angeles, April 3 (IANS): Singer Miley Cyrus, who was recently hit with the news of her beloved dog Floyd's sudden death, paid a tribute to the canine during her latest Bangerz concert in Boston.

On Tuesday, she came to know of her dog's death. She was hence emotional on stage and could barely finish a performance of "Landslide", reports contactmusic.com.

"It's gonna be hard for me on this next song. I'm not sounding myself, I don't feel myself. But I just wanna do one song," she told the crowd.

"I'm sure you guys already know, but the reason that I'm so upset is my dog, I shouldn't say he was my favourite but he was my favourite, he passed away.

"I just wanna do a song for him. We used to always listen to Fleetwood Mac together, it's his favourite song. So I wanna do this song for Floyd. This song is 'Landslide'," she added.

Her performance received a standing ovation from the crowd.
