Mapusa, April 2 (TNN): Goa Democratic Front president and independent candidate Dayanand Narvekar has been holding corner meetings across North Goa constituency.
The roadshow travelling through the villages of Socorro, Penha-de-Franca and Salvador-do-Mundo had two corner meetings, one at Batim and another at Socorro. These areas were part of Aldona constituency before the last delimitation and was represented by Narvekar for many years.
On Tuesday, Narvekar moved across the Mandovi to St Andre constituency. He addressed a corner meeting lashing out at the Congress and BJP. Narvekar is fighting the election with the symbol, kite. "GDF's ideology is like a kite, symbolizing progressive thinking and inspiration to fly high," he said.
