Dubai: Red Leaf to present star-studded Family Carnival on Apr 25

Dubai, Mar 27: Red Leaf Events will present entertainment extravaganza 'Family Carnival -2014', its debut event in Dubai, at Wonderland theme park on April 25.

The day promises a whole lot of fun, relaxation and entertainment with live performance by renowned and famous artistes Benny Dayal, Krishna Abhishek, Sudhesh Lehri, Toshi Sabri, Sharib Sabri and Kavya Madhavan,who will be flown in from India especially for this day.

The park will open from 10 am for a very nominal entrance fees of AED 50 for the whole day. Apart from the free park games and rides, visitors will also enjoy shopping and food at the stalls, followed by the entertainment part starting from 7 pm with the performance of the local talents, and of the guest artistes till 1 am.
 

Krishna and Sudhesh


 
Krishna– Sudhesh is a duo that has rocked the show Comedy Circus with fabulous humour and comic timing. Individually, they are both extremely talented performers with a flair for rib tickling comedy.

Krishna Abhishek has made a name for himself as a stand-up comedian with successive appearences in Comedy Circus seasons 1, 2 and 3. He also participated in Comedy Circus Ka Jadoo and Jubilee Comedy Circus. He has also made it as a movie actor with a debut in Yeh Kaisi Mohabbat Hai in 2002 followed by Hum Tum Aur Mom, Aur Pappu Pass Ho Gaya, Jahan Jaayega Hamein Paaeyega and most recently Bol Bachchan where he matched his skills with the likes of Abhishek Bachchan and Ajay Devgan. Nephew of the Bollywood star Govinda, Krishna is a good dancer and has done numerous dance reality shows like Nach Baliye and Jhalak Dikhla Jaa.

Born in Amritsar, Sudesh Lehri is also a film and television actor apart from his role as a stand-up comedian. Well known through Punjabi films and TV, he was one of the top three finalists in the Great Indian Laughter Challenge in 2007. He has done movies like Main Thappar Marna Tere, Teri Maa Ka Sakinaka and superhit movies like Ready and Jai ho. His big claim to fame is of course Comedy Circus and Comedy Ka Tadka.



Benny Dayal


 
UAE’s very own Benny Dayal, now a rage on the Bollywood scene will be performing in Dubai at the Family Carnival to be held on Thursday, April 25 at the Wonderland Theme and Water Park.

Kerala-based Benny who was born and raised in Abu Dhabi has carved a place for himself on the glittering Bollywood scene with tracks like Batamiz Dil from Yeh Jawaani hai Deewani, Kaise Mujhe Tum from Ghajini, Pappu Can’t Dance Saala from Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Naa and recently ABCD from Yaarian.

A versatile singer he has a number of awards to his credit. He sings in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam and has worked with musical greats like A R Rahman, Amit Trivedi, Salim-Sulaiman, Vishal Shekhar, Pritam and Himesh Reshammiya.

He is a huge rage down South as well with hit numbers like “Paatonnu Paadan Marnnathende” from the movie “Kilukkam kilukilukkam in Malayalam,“Tangaali Tandeya” and “Romeokalige Juliet” from the movie ‘Love Guru’ in Kannada, “Oh Madhu I love you”, “love you Soniyo” and “Korisna Rangbaazi” from the movie Rangbaaz in Bengali, and “Gum Gum Yeyo” from ‘darling’ in Telugu.

Benny has also made his acting debut in the Malayalam movie 'By The People', a suspense thriller where the songs are sung by Benny’s band, the S5 members. The move is special also because it this movie that got him noticed by A R Rahman.



Toshi Sabri and Sharib Sabri


 
Winning the hearts of the nation with their stints on a reality TV show, Sharib and Toshi became the most sought-after musicians in Bollywood. Having composed and sung the blockbuster track Maahi Maahi from Raaz 2 and other Bollywood films like Jail, Jashnn, Yamla Pagla Deewana 2 and now recent hit track kabhi jo badal barse from the film Jackpot. The duo has also released a non-Bollywood album ‘French Kiss’ which is doing exceptionally well all over.

Sharib & Toshi are powerhouse singers. They specialize in many genres. Sharib rose to fame when he became a contestant on the popular reality show Saregamapa in 2005 and Toshi followed him soon when he became a contestant on Star Plus Voice of India. The brothers have carved a niche for themselves and have managed to create a loyal fan base.

Sharib and Toshi have fans all over the world, especially hailing in the Middle East, Pakistan and the UK. They are also planning to launch a single in collabration with a Grammy Award winner popular artiste later this year



Kavya Madhavan


 
Kavya was born on September 19, 1984 in the village of Nileshwaram in Kasargod district, Kerala. She first appeared as a child actor in Kamal's film Pookkalam Varavayi (1991), at just 7 years of age. Her talent was soon recognised, and was offered other projects such as Pavam IA Ivachan (1994) and Azhakiya Ravanan (1996). It was Azhakiya Ravanan directed by Kamal which got her got more public attention. She did a lot of movies after that mostly as a child actor.

After her leading role, she became popular in the Malayalam film industry. It has been claimed that she was the busiest female actress in Malayalam. She is also a trained dancer and has won many awards and accolades.

Kavya has also written lyrics for the song "En Khalbillulloru Pennaanu" for the film One Way Ticket and sang her first movie song for the Malayalam film Matinee (2012).

    Wow.....!!! First time in Dubai a free Bollywood show. You pay for the entry of park and rides that too a nominal AED 50 and enjoy the show free. All the best organizers. Wish to see many more such shows all over Gulf.
