Mumbai, March 24 (IANS): "Club 60", late Farooque Sheikh's last movie, has completed a run of over 100 days in theatres. Its team got together for a celebration party, says director Sanjay Tripathy.
The party was held here Sunday evening.
"The film is still running in PVR Cinemas and Cinemax. We had a small celebration last evening with the star cast of the film. It was a nostalgic evening as we all missed Farooque sir," Tripathy told IANS.
"He had a major contribution towards this film. We spoke to his wife and she gave us her blessings, but she couldn't come for some reason," he added.
Made on a budget of Rs.6 crore, the film did decent business.
"We didn't make money from this film, but we drew huge satisfaction out of it. People are liking it and praising it a lot. So, that's a huge achievement for us. I hope with satellite and overseas theatrical release, we will hopefully make much more," Tripathy said.
The film features actors like Sarika, Satish Shah and Raghuvir Yadav.
