Bangalore, Mar 23: The trend of jumping from one party to another or celebrities joining political party continues as general parliamentary elections fast approach.

The number of new comers and migrants are said to be much higher in BJP as compared to other parties in the country. However in Karnataka the trend is going in the reverse direction with Congress gaining more as compared to BJP or JD(S).

On Saturday March 22, it was Sandalwood - Congress day. Bhavya, once a heartthrob among Kannada cine lovers, joined Congress along with BJP leader, MLC and chairman of Kannada Development Board 'Mukyamantri' Chandru and actor-director Madan Patel who migrated from KJP.

Independent MLC Raghu Achar, Haveri district JD(S) unit president Gaaji Gowda and Singapore Kannada Fedarations' president Srinivas D M Sali also joined Congress in the presence of Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee president Dr Parameshwar and other ministers and leaders.

The leaders who joined said that Congress is a pro-poor party, and has always treated everyone with equality. "At the moment no other party in the country is concerned about the poor as much as Congress is. Hence we are joining Congress unconditionally," they said.

State social welfare minister Anjaneya said, "We are very careful in choosing new comers and other party members for Congress. We screen everyone, and those with good background only are inducted into our party, unlike in some other parties that are welcoming anyone who walks in."

We don't want Kejriwal as he is not shining and he speaks the truth...! Truth is always very bitter...!We should make a habit of listening to truth...no matter how bitter it is...for the good of our beloved country.

This is just the beginning, eventually a lot more BJP leaders will have conflicts with 'HIT-LIAR' who is the new avatar of hitller in 2014 and quit BJP.

The founding members of BJP who were with the party from the days of Jan Sangh like MM JOshi, Advani, Jaswant Singh, Shiv Sena are being thrown in the dust bin by Modi.

Basically, Modi has a sinister plan to eliminate all oldies and RSS related politicians and provide Lok Sabha Tickets to his dummies and stooges who will just sit in the parliament and not raise questions so that Modi can run the show like a dictator.

SOME OF THE TYPICAL COMMENTS OF CONGIS IN THE FORUM LISTED AS BELOW. I HOPE THEY FEEL THE SAME TOO THIS TIME AROUND, JUST BY REPLACING THE WORD BJP WITH CONGRESS. JAI HO. THE ONLY ANSWER THEY DONT HAVE IS WHY IS THEIR STAR BATSMEN FORM HARVARD P CHIDHU IS SCARED AND RUNNING AWAY FROM CONTESTING ELECTIONS THIS TIME AROUND ???????

When the election is approaching everything could be possible,so nothing to over joy.It will continue till the last moment of election.

Grabbing power is the only ideology many of our politicians have ..sriramulu, yeddy, many more from across the parties are doing this. they will be punished by the electorate as they have done to many in history

Mukesh Ambani is planning to have his own English Daily from Mumbai. So he must have offered M J Akbar the Editorship of the Daily. That is why he joined the BJP .

BJP has nothing to show to the people of this country

    Another rat??

The BJP is desperate to have muslims in the party but I believe only to serve as 'SHOW PIECES' to send out the impression that the Modi/BJP are good to the muslims just to get their votes.

Another opportunist like Jaffer Sharief. Money can buy anything and everything.

Unfortunately, celebrities are not smart enough to understand that they are being used, most of the time. I wish they would do some good work for the people thru charitable organizations, if they really want to do something good for India or state.
