Mangalore, Mar 23: Though the police claimed that the gruesome death of 22-year-old Rohit from Kerala was a result of an accident, his family members suspect that foul play was involved.
Rohit, hailing from Pathanamthitta, Kerala, was found dead with his head severed from the body at Tannir Bavi here on Sunday March 23.

Though it was initially suspected to be a case of murder, the police later said that Rohit had been riding at a high speed and hit a tree.
However, his parents Dr Radhakrishnan and Dr Sridevi who are settled in Bahrain expressed suspicion that their son was murdered.
Speaking to daijiworld, Kiran, a relative said that Rohit owned no bike and always drove a car. On the night of Saturday March 22, he had dinner with some friends and took the Pulsar bike for a ride, without saying where he was going. Kiran further said that police have not given clear information on what actually took place.
Devdas, a cousin of the deceased, said that it seems like a foul play as he felt that an accident wouldn't have severed the head in such a way.
