French national arrested with drugs in Goa


Panaji, March 20 (IANS): A French national was arrested Thursday for possessing LSD and MDMA, synthetic drugs also known as acid and ecstasy, said police.

A police spokesperson said Acquarone Pierre was arrested at drug haven Anjuna, a coastal village in Goa, 15 km from here.

"He was found in possession of LSD and MDMA worth an estimated Rs.2.28 lakh," police said.
