Kasargod, Mar 20: The victims of Endosulfan led by Endosulfan affected pro people union have protested again against the government for not keeping the promises made by it.
They have decided to go on rally on March 27 to the office of commissioner. Though the government had promised to release by February 28 the list of victims who participated in the health camp in August 2011, they have not kept their promise.
Though the installment of compensation recommended by national human rights commission was to be released by March 31, the process has not started. The last date for repayment of loan to the victims comes to an end on March 31, but there are still no orders for the extension,
said the office bearers in the press conference.
The office bearers said that Ambalattara Kunhikrishnan, secretary of Endoslfan affected people's union and K Ashok, joint secretary have been removed from their positions.
T Shobhana, Praveen, Subhash Chemeni and K Balakrishna were present at the news conference.
