Mangalore girl Supriya H S crowned 'Miss Glory of India'

Mangalore, Mar 19: Yet another beauty from Mangalore has made a mark on the national arena, winning a contest that saw young women not only from across India but also from other countries participate.
Supriya H S from Padil here, currently residing in Bangalore, won the title of 'Miss Glory of India 2014' in the recently held Miss Glory of Universe 2014 beauty pageant organized by Aman Gandhi Film Productions and World Tibet Congress. The contest was based on the themes 'Save Tibet' and 'Release H H Pancham Lama from China's jail'.
Speaking to daijiworld, Supriya said that the experience was wonderful as she got to meet people from different parts of the country during the pageant. She enrolled through the contest page in Facebook and Dr Mahesh Yadav, director/producer at Aman Gandhi Film Productions selected her.
Supriya's mother is a social worker from Kottara here. Her father, an ex-forest official, passed away two years ago. Supriya and her sister Sushmita are pursuing BSc and BBM studies in Bangalore. In fact, Sushmita too participated in the same contest and won the title of 'Miss Beautiful Eyes'.
Apart from the 'Miss Glory of India' title, Supriya was adjudged 'Miss Intelligent' too. Prior to the final contest, the participants debated on Tibet Congress.
Supriya said that she is currently doing a calendar shoot for CoolPix Nikon and she has already been approached with two film offers, and three albums in Tulu and other languages. She has also featured in an advertisement. She next plans to contest in the Femina pageant.
Metock from Tibet won the title of 'Miss Glory of Universe 2014'. Metock has in fact been in China's jail and suffered atrocity. After winning the show she said she was committed to work for Tibet peace and for other prisoners of China's jail.
Shanu Pandey from Kanpur won 'Miss Glory of World 2014' title. Arshi Khan from Mumbai was crowned 'Miss Glory of Earth 2014' and Pratiksha Chaturvedi from Allahabad the title of 'Miss Glory of Asia 2014'.
Unique Rose from Paris was the chief guest and judge of the show. She was presented with a special award 'World Peace Ambassador of the World Tibet Congress' during the show.
Miss Finland Maria performed a beautiful Indian dance and was also the other judge of the show. All the winners committed to work for Tibet peace throughout the world with founder of Aman Gandhi Film Productions and World Tibet Congress, Dr Mahesh Yadav.
